Introduction
BRMCA is an association of member companies dedicated to representing
the interests of British ready-mix concrete producers to Government,
technical/industry bodies, the general public and other key audiences.
The association leads the way in improving innovation, product
development and client/contractor liaison in the concrete industry.
BRMCA focuses on a wide range of topics, such as sustainability,
technical and environmental issues, health and safety, industry
legislation and government policy, as well as promotion of building
systems using ready mix concrete.
BRMCA operates through Task Groups, made up of members and specialists
who study specific issues; seminars and workshops, to help disseminate
information and encourage discussion; and the publication of best
practice guides and key information.
The BRMCA is one of the constituent bodies of the QPA. The trade
association for the aggregate and quarry products industry.

Institution of Structural Engineers, London, with presentations
on High Strength Concrete, EN206-1 Testing Requirements, Sustinability
and Responsible Sourcing.
